Hello and welcome! 

We will get to who we are in a moment. First thing's first...what in the world is an amber gambler? 

Sounds funny, doesn't it? Amber Gambler is a term we heard our taxi driver use while sitting at a red light in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Wikipedia says that the term is an idiom born in the 1970's in the UK to describe a very impatient person that cannot wait for the light to turn green. It has also been referred to as "jumping the lights".

We, however, looked at the term in a different light (no pun intended). We took it to mean someone that takes a chance on their dreams or ideas, a leap of faith if you will. 

So, fast forward to 8 years later and here we are, leaping!  We are taking a chance on US for a change, and we could not think of a better name for our venture! 

Now about us...

We are Brian & Tiffani Swearngin. 

We have been married since 2009 and also did a little dating back in high school!

We are both Missouri natives who spent our summers at the Lake of the Ozarks and Pom de Terre in the early 70's to 90's. 

The lake life is in our blood, so we decided to make it our permanent home in early 2022. 

Tiffani is a Respiratory Therapist by trade who left bedside in 2019.  She also has a long background in the bridal consultant industry from designing headpieces and veils to event planning. 

Brian is a Navy veteran and an Ironworker by trade.  Brian has a background as a bartender and in bar management.  He has always had a dream of owning his own bar, so we thought this would be the next best thing! 

So....here we go!  We hope you'll come along for the ride!
